In 2012 Indonesia will follow the international level ABU robot contest Robocon 2012 will be held in Hong Kong, China, on August 19, 2012, in which Indonesia Robotics Team will be competing against 20 teams overseas Robot.The race is a race is 11th (eleven) to be held in Hong Kong with participants from member countries of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU). ABU is abroadcasting organization in the Asia-Pacific countries with over one hundred television and radio stations out of 5 (five) hundred countries. In this case represented by Televisi Republik Indonesia Indonesia as a member.

The team representing Indonesia will be chosen through a selection in the Indonesian Robot Contest 2012 (KRI-2012) to be held in stages starting with the Regional Contest in 5 (five) regions namely Medan, Bandung, Semarang,Surabaya and Makassar. Winner of the fifth Regional Contest will be included in the KRI-2012 National Contest to be held on 16-17 June 2012 in the city of Bandung. Twenty-four teams from colleges that meet regional requirements and pass the selection process may participate in the National KRI-2012. On May 8, 2012, 4th Regional Contest for East Java and Bali will be held at Graha ITS Surabaya. Hopefully PENS  be a champion and represent Indonesia to compete in Hong Kong in Abu Robocon 2012.  PENS JOSS
