Batik is a way of making design on cloth, people use wax and a canthing. Batik design can be on cotton, silk, velvet, wool or leather. In traditional wave the artist draws his design with pencil or charcoal on the cloth. He then traces liquid wax by boiling the material. People name this batik tulis. Most batik design as traditional and have nature subjects. In Java the colour of a batik show the region where it is come from.
