Mini 4 Wheel Drive, or we usually call it tamiya. It is a small car toy that can run fast in a circuit. It consists of five main parts. Those are chasis (as the main body), machine (dynamo and gearbox), wheels, rollers and battery (as supply). Sometimes, there is a race event at a big mall in Surabaya and the prize is billions rupiah for the winner, instead getting a trophy. People say that this toy just for kids, but actually not. The players are kids and adult. For adult players, their mini 4 WD can be seen down. The maximum speed is nearly 100 km/h. That’s why we can catch and stop it with bare hand. It’s dangerous so we should use a rubber glove.
Playing mini 4 WD, is not just a hobby. We can also learn physics knowledge by playing it, about how to make the fastest dynamo, to adjust the rollers angle that contact with the circuit side, to make aerodynamic body and others, include planning a strategy for race. Like othe race, more money we have, than the bigger chance we become the winner. Because the price for its parts is linear with the quality.
